Babies and a Wedding

Regeneration is going well for the Foundation!

TODDLERS...
2022 Scholar Beau North and Kat Fausett have an adorable one year old daughter Cassidy, and are eagerly awaiting their second addition to the family in July. Creating a wildlife corridor windbreak on one of their ridges, a few creek plantings, and organising four workshops for the Central Qld Soil Health Systems Group, is certainly keeping them busy while they wait for number two.

BABIES...

2024 Scholars Genevieve Kane and Isaac Perina’s first baby arrived in March. Rosie, a cute little poppet, will head west with mum and dad when the flood waters subside enough for them to get back into ‘Nappa Merrie’ in far southwest Queensland.
Isaac is the property Head-stockman and Gen is the Burke and Wills Dig Tree Guide. Rosie will enjoy being cooed over by lots of tourists no doubt.

2024 Scholars John and Lexi Hauff proudly welcomed Alfred Charles into their world at Blackall in central western Queensland in late March. He’s a little brother for the adorable Dulcie that the 2024 cohort were able to watch grow from a three month old baby at the first workshop to a busy toddler at the finale event in Toowoomba in February this year.

AND A WEDDING...

2025 participant Ashleigh Rimmington married Matthew Andrews in early April. The family property, Highland Hideaway at Lower Wonga near Gympie, was the perfect setting for their outdoor wedding. Proud father Trevor, also a 2025 LHF participant, walked his glowing daughter down the aisle. The expansive property views made a wonderful backdrop for a very special day for the new Mr and Mrs Andrews.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL ……
