Regen Ag guru headlines at Dulacca

Thinking of soil as a community rather than a commodity was the hot topic at the tiny town of Dulacca on the Warrego Highway between Miles and Roma on 20th May.
The town hall was overflowing with energy and enthusiastic conversations as nearly 100 participants heard from keynote speaker Dr. Charles Massy, author of the groundbreaking book "Call of the Reed Warbler". This book is widely regarded as pivotal in the emergence of regenerative agriculture in Australia.
Gwyn Jones from Integrated Agri-Culture talked grasses, hydration and how to 'read the weed'. While Cibo Labs managing director Phil Tickle explained pasture biomass estimation and monitoring using the latest satellite technology.
"The Regenerative Agriculture Day of Learning was an inspirational event with landholders and community members sharing the same vision – applying regenerative agricultural practices on their property," was a comment made by a Queensland Trust for Nature (QTFN) participant at the day.

Queensland Country Life reporter Sally Gall was there to follow the story lines.
